Gosport Volunteer Centre
Portsmouth Council of Community Service
Isle of Wight Volunteer Centre (see further down)
Gosport Volunteer Centre recruits and support local people who want to volunteer and we also support organisations that require volunteers. Whatever your situation, skills or experience, we will do our best to find you enjoyable voluntary work in the local area of Gosport, Fareham and Portsmouth. Anyone can volunteer as long as they have a little time to spare and are enthusiastic!
You may want to give something back to the community. You may be hoping to get back to work or you may just want to meet new people!
We match people who want to do voluntary work with local community groups who need volunteers.
Here are some of the things you can do
Help at a day centre for older people
Give advice or counselling or become a mentor
Befriend older people who are housebound
Become a Committee Member or Trustee
Carry out practical conservation work
Drive people in a mini-bus or your own car
Help in a charity shop
Work with children or young people
And much more...
